Empowering Students to Become Inspiring Leaders

Fryeburg Academy empowers students to become inspiring leaders who positively impact their communities.

The school offers programs that help students develop essential leadership skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork. Students are also encouraged to participate in community service projects, where they can serve and give back to others. We aim to create active and engaged citizens committed to making a difference in their communities and beyond.

“Participating in Model UN was a great experience that opened my eyes to the importance of diplomacy and global cooperation. Through the conference, I developed my public speaking skills and learned about the complexities of international relations. I am excited to continue my involvement and apply the skills I have learned to make a positive impact in my community.”

Student Leadership

At Fryeburg Academy, students elect student council officers committed to representing and advocating for their peers. The council works closely with students to organize and coordinate various exciting events and activities, such as dances, fundraisers, and community service projects. This ensures that everyone's voice is heard, and the role provides a valuable platform for students to develop their leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Community Service

Fryeburg Academy values community service and encourages students to get involved in various volunteer activities. Students participate in community service, partnering with local organizations like the Conway Area Humane Society and the Fryeburg Fair. There are also community service clubs like the Model UN, Interact, and the Dinner Bell Club. These clubs allow students to give back to the community throughout the year.

On-Campus Student Employment

At Fryeburg Academy, students can work on campus in various departments, such as the dining hall and maintenance. The dining hall employs students as servers, dishwashers, and kitchen assistants. The buildings and grounds crew hires students to assist with campus maintenance, landscaping, and other related tasks. These student employment opportunities provide valuable work experience and a way to earn money while contributing to the overall functioning of the campus.
