Faculty, staff, and students line up to greet the incoming freshman class.

Twice a month, faculty, staff, and students gather at the Ada Cram Wadsworth Arena as an entire community to hear announcements, spend time together, and connect with advisories. Class presidents often help lead the assembly with a particular agenda for that meeting.

The beloved annual tradition is held in March when residential students compete against one another to demonstrate dorm pride and teamwork.

Students carry their countries’ flags during an all-school meeting and greet the assembly in their native languages.

A tradition that began in the 1950s and was initially called the Queen’s Court, where five senior girls were selected by faculty to be the “queens” of the celebration. Today, the spirit-themed week is called Winter Carnival and culminates with the Winter Carnival Dance.

The chorus, band, and ensemble groups perform an annual concert with holiday favorites. The event is typically the season's highlight for our campus and community.
