Kathleen Dekutoski Hunsicker '89

Kathleen Dekutoski Hunsicker is a graduate of Fryeburg Academy, class of 1989 and has maintained an active connection to the Fryeburg community. Kathleen went on to continue her education at the University of Southern Maine, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Teaching Certificate from the ETEP Program.
After taking a few years off to raise her children, Kathleen went back to graduate school to receive a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Currently, Kathleen is a Nationally Certified Counselor and teaches psychology and sociology at Central Maine Community College. As a member of the academic community, Kathleen also spends much of her time focusing on restorative justice initiatives, conflict resolution, and mediation in schools, as well as working with families and members of local communities. 
Kathleen lives in Fryeburg with her husband, Calvin and together have five graduates of Fryeburg Academy: Nolan, ’12, Kyra ’13, Benjamin ’14, Abigail ’16, and William ’17.
