Art Celebrates Place

The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust presents the 9th annual Arts Celebrates Place event from 5-7:30 pm. Art Celebrates Place showcases the work of local artists and the landscapes of the Mount Washington Valley and western Maine. Enjoy and evening of local foods, drinks, original artwork, and live performance, all in support of land conservation. The artwork is inspired by land conserved by the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust (USVLT). This year, the theme is ‘Over Hill & Dale, focusing on five farms; The Upland Farms in Madison, NH; Old Pinkham Farm in Jackson, NH; Simonton Conservation Easement in Brownfield, ME; Cobbs Conservation Easement in Conway, NH; and Cope Preserve Property in Fryeburg, ME. The exhibition will feature the work of artists Sandy Bell, Marnie Cobbs, April Costa, Don Gemmecke, Peggy Clark Lumpkins, Molly Mains, Steve Pullen, Lauren Sansaricq, Sean Stull, Jennifer Van Cor, and a Fryeburg Academy student artist.
