13. Walker Industrial Arts Building and Weston-Atwood Ski Building
The Clarence G. Walker Industrial Arts Building is home to the Academy's industrial arts program. Clarence Coombs, Class of 1944 and Harold Sanborn, instructors of Industrial Arts, designed the building. It was built by Lloyd A Drew Contractors, Class of 1958, of North Conway, N. H. for $140,000.00 and dedicated August 19,1978. Mr. Walker was the Industrial Arts Teacher from 1931 to 1968.
In 2006 a new ski facility was built on the Pine Street end of the Industrial Arts Building. This building was built by George Drew, Class of 1960 and John Weston, Class of 1993 and became the Weston-Atwood Ski Building. Dedication was December 23, 2006.
