7. Payson-Mulford Hall

Payson-Mulford Hall is home to 30 boys from across the United States and the world.  All dormitories at Fryeburg Academy have two live-in faculty dorm parents, a common room, washers and dryers and high-speed wireless internet.  All rooms in Payson-Mulford Hall are doubles.
Built in 1963 as a boys' dormitory by Gordon T.Burke & Son, General Contractor of No. Conway, N. H. for $165,000.00.  Payson-Mulford Hall is named for Phillips M. Payson, Portland, ME., Trustee of Fryeburg Academy from 1942 to 1977 and Clarence E. Mulford, Fryeburg, Maine, Trustee from 1951 until his death in 1956. It was dedicated June 6, 1964.
