5. Frye Hall

Frye Hall is the largest dormitory on campus and is home to 45 girls from across the United States and the world.  All dormitories at Fryeburg Academy have two live-in faculty dorm parents, a common room, washers and dryers and high-speed wireless internet.  Most rooms in Frye Hall are doubles, there are also a few triples, and singles.
Built in 1963 for a girl’s dormitory by Gordon T. Burke & Son, North Conway, N. H. for $220,000.00.  This building was named for General Joseph Frye, Fryeburg’s first settler, and dedicated November 5, 1966.
