John Bradley Steadman passed away Nov. 22, 2018, at Bridgton Health & Residential Care Center Bridgton, Maine, after several years of declining health due to Parkinson’s syndrome.
John was born Aug. 15, 1945, in Boston to Georgiana Barrows Steadman and Kenneth A. Steadman. He moved with his family in 1950 to Fryeburg, Maine, graduated from Fryeburg Academy and attended University of Maine in Orono.
John was predeceased by both parents and his nephew Kenneth A. Steadman II. Family members include brother James A. Steadman and his wife, Lisa; sister Judith Steadman and her husband, Mike Morrison, all of Fryeburg; nieces and nephews include Eliza Ford and her husband, Michael, of Holden, Maine; Katherine Earley and her husband, Steve, of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Thomas Staples and his wife, Cheri, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Steadman family extends its thanks to Bridgton Health Care for its skilled care and kind support.
To honor John’s wishes, there will be no services, but a family and friends remembrance gathering will be planned for the future.
