Michael Hatch '79

He was born on Nov. 16, 1960, in North Conway, NH, a son of Leonard L. and Rita Ann (McGinnis) Hatch.
Michael L. Hatch, 57, of Lovell, Maine, formerly of Fryeburg, Maine, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his home in Lovell where he had been living for a short time with a friend.

He attended local schools, graduating from Fryeburg Academy in 1979.
Mike was a skilled carpenter who took his skills on the road as he was a free spirit who spent time in various places throughout the United States, but always found his way home to Fryeburg.

Surviving Mike are his daughters, Alicia Nave and her husband, Christopher of Sanford and Arica Hatch of Sanford; three grandchildren, Kassidy and Austin Nave and Cameron Cole; four siblings, Christine Allen and her husband, Wallace of Lovell, Darlene Locke of Norway, Steven Hatch of Fryeburg and Brenda Hatch of Albany, N.H.; ex-wife and friend, Roxxanne Hatch of Sanford; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial party for Michael in Lovell at his sister Christine's house on June 2 from 11 a.m. to June 3 at 4 p.m. Rain dates are June 9 and 10 at the same time. The family is doing things his way. Bring your own beverage, bring a tent, bring some food to share, bring your memories and best stories to tell. Let's celebrate Michael the way he'd want us to.

Arrangements are in the care of the Wood Funeral Home at 9 Warren St. in Fryeburg. Condolences and tributes may be shared with Mike’s family at woodfuneralhome.org
