Bryce P. Nelson '08

Bryce Patrick Nelson, 28, of Brownfield, Maine, left this world, unexpectedly on March 31, 2018. 
He was born on March 22, 1990 in North Conway, NH. He attended both Fryeburg Academy and The Alternative School of Lakes Region High School and graduated in 2008. 

Bryce is survived by his parents; John (Jay) H. Nelson, Jr. and wife, Tracy McAnn Nelson of Center Conway, NH; Mother, Stacey Robinson of Lititz, PA; Stepmother, Suzanne Nelson (Wuzy) of Harpswell, ME; Stepfather; Stephen Robinson
 of Brownfield, ME. He also leaves behind his beloved brother Aidan Robinson; his Maternal Grandmother, Patricia Lewis of Lititz, PA; Grandparents, Richard and Anita Boutet of Saco, ME; Robert and Rose Marie Robinson of Fort Fairfield, ME; Uncles; Jon Wilson, Eric Shank, Peter Robinson, Michael Robinson; 
Daniel Boutet and Chris Boutet. Aunts; Sara Rhoads-Shank, Lisa Wilson, Sara Elizabeth, Patricia Nelson, and Sharon and Holly Nelson. His cousins are; Grace and Cameron Wilson; Alec, Natalie and Brigham Rhoads; Dannah Verlander; Hans Lagerstrom; Aubrey, Shea and Liam Gillis; Matthew Boutet; Tori Harrell; Patrick, Alex, Sydney, Holly, William, Nicholas and Daniel Robinson. Bryce also leaves behind his girlfriend Hanna Logan. Preceded in death are Paternal Grandparents John H. Nelson, Sr. and Leah Nelson and Maternal Grandfather Herbert James Wilson.

Bryce was one of those rare souls who was loved by everyone who met him. People will remember his smile, his infectious laugh, and amazing bear hugs. His cousins all looked up to him and thought he was the best! Bryce loved his only sibling Aidan Robinson so much and these last six months of living with him and spending so much time with him has been the greatest gift ever. He loved skiing and snowboarding, raising chickens and all of his dogs over the years; Angie, Penny and most recently Rusher. Bryce truly enjoyed working at the Back Burner Restaurant in Brownfield, ME. He was a lover of music, traveling with his best friends and buying and fixing old broken down cars, especially vans. All who knew Bryce knows what an incredible human being he was and everyone will miss him greatly for the rest of time. 

A celebration of Bryce’s life will be held at 2PM, Saturday, Apr. 7, 2018 at The Church of the New Jerusalem, also known as The Fryeburg New Church, 12 Oxford Street, Fryeburg, Maine. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service from 12-2PM on Saturday. A reception and luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the service.
