  Fryeburg Academy Candlelight Concert

  Fryeburg Academy presents the annual Candlelight Concerts on Sunday, December 8th at 4:00 and 7:00 pm. The shows will feature the school’s choral and instrumental ensembles performing a vast selection of holiday favorites. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted in support of the F.A. Music program. Please note that we are not taking reservations for these shows. The lobby will be open at 3:00 and 6:00, and seating will begin at 3:45 and 6:45. Snow date: Monday, December 9th (7:00 show only).

  Bradley Backstage: The Heather Pierson Trio

  Bradley Backstage presents the Heather Pierson Jazz Trio and their annual "Charlie Brown Christmas Concert." The trio, featuring singer/pianist Heather Pierson, bassist Shawn Nadeau, and drummer Craig Bryan, will perform the entirety of the Charlie Brown Christmas album as recorded by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. Fifty years on, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" still holds up as one of the most endearing Christmas tales ever told. The musical score, composed by the late Vince Guaraldi, is just as poignant and touching as the story and includes the hugely popular hit "Linus and Lucy." His gentle jazz riffs established musical trademarks that, to this day, still prompt smiles of recognition. Bradley Backstage concerts 'flip' the theater by seating the audience on stage with the performers, creating a much more intimate and unforgettable live concert experience.

  Tina Titzer's Act One Dance Company presents the 11th Annual Holiday Festival of Dance and The Nutcracker Sweets. This family-friendly program will include ballet, tap, and jazz pieces to your favorite Christmas tunes in the first half, and a shortened version of The Nutcracker in the second half.
