Arts

Our Arts program was created to bring an appreciation of the fine arts into students' lives by discovering individual talents, encouraging original expression, and fostering creative discovery. On campus, Students experience live professional performances in the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center, see professionally curated exhibits in the PACE Galleries, and display their own works of art in the Nadler Gallery.

Join the FA Film Workshop

Learn to make movies the way they do it in Hollywood. (Well, pretty close anyway!) The workshop is a place for students of Fryeburg Academy to gain hands-on experience in the art of writing, shooting, acting and editing their own films.

(Film Workshop I and/or teacher approval required for participation in this class.)

FA Film Workshop Videos

Original videos created by students of the Fryeburg Academy Filmmaking Workshop in western Maine. Everyone is urged to submit his or her finished films to be featured during the Fryeburg Academy Awards Show on the “big screen” at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at the end of the year.
This is a 2018 FA Film Workshop project for the "Stage to Screen" class. The film screened as part of the 37th Annual Asbury Film Concert -- a professional touring show of award-winning short films from around the world. FA Film Workshop was honored to be included and the audience was impressed by our young filmmakers' work.
