Sparking Creativity + Inspiration
Our Arts program is designed to spark creativity and inspire our students to appreciate the beauty of the fine arts. Through hands-on experience, we help our students discover their artistic talents and allow them to express themselves creatively through exploration.
Our program offers students a unique opportunity to experience live performances at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center, view professionally curated exhibits at the PACE Galleries, and showcase their own works of art at the Nadler Gallery. Moreover, our Certificate of Arts program allows students to enhance their skills through coursework, portfolio building, and participating in a range of extra-curricular activities, both on and off campus. We believe that by providing our students with the tools to explore their creativity, we are helping them build a strong foundation for their future.

Performing Arts
In our award-winning performing arts program, students learn different styles of music, from classical and jazz to blues and contemporary rock, developing their vocal or instrumental abilities. Our theater classes offer students the chance to develop their acting skills, learn about stagecraft, and perform in front of an audience as part of our annual student-led musical and one-act plays.
Visual Arts
The Academy’s visual arts classes offer students a unique opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through various mediums. From drawing and painting to sculpture, 3D modeling, digital photography, and filmmaking, students can experiment with different techniques and styles to develop their skills and find their artistic voice.
Certificate of Arts Program
This unique capstone program offers students a pathway to help build their college admission art portfolios and increase their knowledge in a particular field through coursework and independent study.
Technical Arts
Fryeburg Academy's Technical Arts program is a comprehensive program that provides students with hands-on experience with woodworking and machine fabrication. The program is designed to teach students the skills and techniques necessary to work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and plastic.
