Distinguished Alumni Award
This award honors those alums who have rendered meritorious service to the school and/or community. Nominations are taken from the FA alumni base. A committee reviews all nominations and names the recipients at the annual FA Alumni Banquet during Reunion Weekend.

Distinguished Alumni: Mary "Beth" Grover Jones '66
The Fryeburg Academy Alumni Association presents the Distinguished Alumni Award each year during reunion weekend. A committee reviews nominations and selects an individual who – “has rendered meritorious service to the school and/or community.”

Distinguished Alumni: Debbie Osgood Urgese '74
Fryeburg Academy Alumni Association President, Dana Charles ’83, awarded the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award to alumna Debbie Osgood Urgese ’74 at the Reunion Banquet held on August 18, 2023.

Fryeburg Academy Alumni Association President, Nita Craig-Carsley ’70, awarded the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award to Fryeburg Academy faculty member and alumna Kathy Wilson Dunham ’77 at the Reunion Brunch held on August 20, 2022.
Distinguished Alumni: Gerald "Gay" Kiesman '44
Gerald “Gay” Kiesman was honored on Saturday, August 17, at Fryeburg Academy’s Reunion Banquet with the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. This award is presented annually by the Fryeburg Academy Alumni Association to an alum who has rendered meritorious service to the school and/or community.
