Your Summer Begins at FA: July 18-29, 2022

FA's Summer Term is a unique two-week program that immerses students in the region's vast outdoor landscape, accompanied by a robust academic offering. Morning sessions focus on academics, ranging from STEM and creative writing to SAT college preparation and the arts.

Afternoon activities are geared towards outdoor adventures such as canoeing the Saco, visiting Old Port, enjoying Maine's beautiful beaches, or athletic conditioning. Our program partners with Mountain Center's Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab to provide student-athletes with professionally designed fitness programs and athletic training.

"Summer Term at the Academy taught me so much about nature, myself, and pushed me academically. The small class size helped me feel comfortable getting extra support in advancing my writing skills in preparation for my freshman year. And, I made so many new friends that made starting in the fall much easier!"
