Fryeburg Academy’s Computer Science, Aviation, & Technology Program allows students to gain relevant and challenging applied learning experiences that enhance their occupational, personal, and academic success. The program prepares them to meet the needs of the Maine workforce in critical areas of need and offers in-depth training and career exploration for students interested in aviation, electrical technology, and agriculture.

Aviation Program
The Aviation program at Fryeburg Academy offers students a hands-on introduction to the exciting world of flight. Students will explore the principles of aerodynamics, aviation operations, air traffic control systems, pilot maintenance, and FAA rules and regulations.

Electrical Technology Program
The Electrical Technology Program is a two-year electrician training program focusing on careers in electricity, safety, basic electrical principles, tools and usage, and residential electrical technology.

Agriculture Program
The Agriculture Program covers various aspects of agriculture, such as crop production, sustainable farming practices, and hands-on practice at the Academy's farm. It also includes field trips to local farms to learn about modern agricultural methods.

Technical Arts
Fryeburg Academy has an exceptional Technical Arts program that provides students with hands-on experience in woodworking and machine fabrication. The program aims to help students acquire critical workforce skills and apply those skills to real-world problems.
