FA's Music Program Shines at the 2025 Jazz Festival
The Academy’s music program, directed by Mike Sakash, continues to excel. We’re proud of our students' achievements and hard work.

- Kitchen Combo: Gold
- Who’s To Say Combo: Silver
- Lauren and Friends Combo: Silver
Outstanding Musician Awards for Combo:

Outstanding Musician Awards for Big Band:
- Griffin Gillis '25, saxophone
- Quinn Hagerty '25, trumpet
- Isaac Houghton '25, bass
Dale Huff Outstanding Musician Award for Big Bands:
- Joseph DellaValla '26 for his impressive banjo feature on Béla Fleck’s “Big Country.”
All the recognition these students received today resulted from their daily dedication to their instruments and their passion for this genre of music!
