Busy Season for FA's Music Program

Each fall, students in the Music Program audition for several honors festivals held throughout the spring. This season is already off to a fantastic start!

Dasha Kolosovska '26, Lily Bryan '26, Arthur Osborne '26, and Mona Wilson '27 were invited to perform with Maine’s top jazz students at the Maine All-State Jazz Festival, January 15–17, at the beautiful Crewe Center for the Arts in Portland.

Seniors Lilia Vishnyakov and Jeehoo Lee recently performed with the top instrumentalists from District II at the Honors Band and Orchestra Festival at Lewiston High School.

On January 30 and 31, Lexi Matthewson '26, Arthur Osborne '26, and Isabelle Desormiers '27 will perform with the top choral students in our district at the District II Vocal Festival at Edward Little High School in Auburn.

It’s a busy season in music! Next up is the District II Jazz Festival, where all five of FA’s jazz groups will perform and receive ratings from the judges.
