Virginia Brooks Menke '47
Virginia Brooks Menke, ‘47, lived a glorious life, full of zest and moxie (both kinds, her lifelong favorite drink!). Funny, compassionate, committed to all kinds of causes, she raised five sons and shared in adventures throughout life, dancing almost to the very end, proving that bacon, butter, and rum contribute to a healthy life. She and her sister Sarah (‘48) are buried next to their parents in Brownfield.
