Tracey Graffam Massey '78

Tracey L. Massey, 65, of Denmark, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 3, 2025 at her home in Denmark surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Portland on June 6, 1960 a daughter of Bernard and Alice (Barton) Graffam, Sr. She attended local schools, graduating from Fryeburg Academy in 1978.

As a young woman she worked as a chamber maid at the Fox Ridge and Red Jackets resorts. She was a stay-at-home Mom for a while before joining the workforce again at Lupine in Center Conway where she worked for 16 years.

Tracey loved all things crafting, cooking, time with her family, and especially boating. It was even better if there were ever any combination of those things. She was also a talented writer and somewhere in her home there is an unpublished children’s book!

She is loved by her husband, Bill of Denmark, whom she married in 1999 in Denmark; daughters, Jenny Burke and her husband, Harley of Bridgton and Megan Massey of Denmark; grandchildren, Brooke, Aiden, and Charlee; a brother, Bernard Graffam, Jr. and his wife, Sally of Bridgton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Bernadine “Deanie” Burnell, Laurie Warner, and Robert Graffam.
