Steven M. Smith '86

Steven Michael Smith, 55, of North Conway, N.H., passed away on Dec. 27, 2023, in Portland, Maine.

Born on July 3, 1968, in North Conway, Steven was a long time resident of North Conway and known by many as a kind and giving soul.

Steven leaves behind cherished memories and is survived by his sisters, Sandra Smith Gosline and Sharon Smith Blake; his lifelong friend Shara Smith; his daughter CaSandra Smith; and his two grandchildren. Brayden and Angela Smith.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mariann Reed Smith and Raymond Smith. Steven dedicated his career to Applebee's restaurant in North Conway, where he served as a faithful and reliable employee for many years.

His commitment and hard work made a lasting impact on his colleagues and customers alike. Outside of his professional life, Steven found solace and joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Brayden and Angela. Their laughter and love brought him immense happiness.

To honor and remember Steven visiting hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2024, at the Furber & White Funeral Home, located at 2925 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.

A private burial will take place in the spring of 2024 at Conway Cemetery, where Steven will find eternal peace. As we bid farewell to Steven, let us hold dear the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
