He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, husband and friend. Rex loved the outdoors, often taking his children on magical adventures through the woods. You could always find him working on something in his garage. One of his prized possessions was his Dodge M37 named “Geoffrey”. Rex was always on a never-ending quest for knowledge and understanding, while always trying to better himself, those around him and the environment. Rex had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. He could spend hours talking about everything and was always willing to help anyone in need.

“No words can encompass the love and admiration we have for our brother. He was loyal, loving and always a phone call away. Our memories are all full of being outdoors, standing next to a vehicle while he was working underneath or having infinite conversations about everything under the sun. Every conversation was laced with sound advice, free of judgement and boundless love through all suggestions. The love he had for his family was unwavering and deep like an endless well. Our lives are forever changed, but his beautiful smile will burn bright forever in our hearts.”
