Philip "Phil" Eugene Trot Jr., 94, went to his forever home to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 13, 2024. He was born the son of Philip E. Trott Sr. and Julia (Lawson) Trott on Dec. 21, 1929, in Newark, N.J.

After discharge from the service, Phil worked at Pratt and Whitney in Hartford, Conn., for five years. While living in Manchester, Conn., he attended barber school. Moving back to Maine, Phil started his barbering career in Kezar Falls Maine. Later, Phii became owner and operated a new barber shop in Fryeburg, Maine, where he earned the nickname Phil the barber.

Phil married his childhood sweetheart, June Kiesman, in May 1949. They were married 50 years before she went to her forever home in January 2000.

Phil wasn't just a role model to his two children, Paul and Catherine, he was all about family. He built a camp on Lovewell Pond in Fryeburg, where many good times and memories were created for family and friends.

The Lord blessed Phil with a second marriage to Diane Wisner in December 2001. He was welcomed by her three children, William 'Bill" Wisner, Tracey Wisner and Lori Noite, and they quickly became his extended family.

Phil brought joy, laughter and adventure to all who knew him. He enjoyed life that included traveling to all four corners of the U.S. to visit family, Maine, Montana, Arizona and Florida; vacationing in Maine, plus kayaking in the Florida Keys and witnessing fighter jets' landing exercises and many other adventures near home and in his travels.
