Pauline Charles Santa Maria '50

Pauline Santa Maria of Center Conway passed away at her home on Sept. 28, 2024 at the age of 92.

Pauline was born August 18, 1932 in Fryeburg, Mainem to parents Louis and Nellie (McAllister) Charles.

Pauline married Angelo Santa Maria in 1957.

Pauline worked many years at the Center Conway Post Office along with filling in at several other post offices.

Pauline enjoyed many things in her lifetime; jigsaw puzzles, painting, cross stitch, sewing, tending to her flower gardens, member of the White Mountain Snowmobile Club, cooking for the Methodist Church public suppers, traveling with her husband for many years to Myrtle Beach, S.C. for the month of March along with visiting many other places, and baking cookies for her family.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents, husband Angelo, brother Halbert Charles (wife Jean), brothers in law Leonard Blake and David Nelson.

Pauline is survived by daughter Andrea Westhaver (husband Kenneth), son Michael Santa Maria (wife Debra), granddaughters Leah Peno, Amanda Hoffman (husband Noah), Aimee Herlihy (husband TJ), 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Julia Blake and Annie Nelson.

Graveside service will be at the Conway Village Cemetery on Saturday Nov. 23, at 11 a.m.
