Linda Smith '67

Linda Faye Smith, 76, of Fryeburg passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. Linda was born in Bridgton on October 19, 1948 to parents Simon and Winifred (Stiles) Smith.

Linda attended local schools and went on to earn an Associates Degree. She had a rewarding career at Raytheon Technologies where she made life long friends and worked for many, many years.

She is survived by her brother, Steven Smith (Alice) of Fryeburg ME; her sister, Patricia Contois of Sterling MA; her brother, Ronald Meserve (Claire) of Fryeburg ME; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Simon and Winifred Smith.

Per Linda’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren St., Fryeburg. The family asks if you wish to pay tribute to Linda, a small donation can be made to Harvest Hills Animal shelter in her honor.
