David Crouse '58

David Arthur Crouse, 85, of Bangor, Maine, passed away on March 9, 2025, peacefully in his home. David was born in Stow, Maine, to Rodney and Alice Crouse on August 13, 1939.

He went to high school at Fryeburg Academy and graduated in 1958. He went on to a degree at Clark University in Worcester, MA. After his commitment to the United States Army, he served on the City of Bangor planning department. In 1981 he became self-employed in restoration of furniture. David was also the author of/publisher of the Cold River Chronicles.

David is survived by his sister, June Crouse Kelley of Leicester, MA; nephew, Jonathan David Kelley; niece, Hannah; nephews, James and Patrick Kelley; cousin, Laurie J. Crouse; and many Curtis Cousins.

At his request, no funeral services at this time. The family will be having a celebration of life later this year.
