Cody Tessier '23

Cody Mitchell Tessier, born May 4, 2005, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025.

He was born in Nashua, NH and spent most of his life in Fryeburg, ME where he grew into the unforgettable young man who was loved by many.

Cody had a spirit that lit up every room and face he came across. He wasn’t afraid to simply be himself — fully, loudly, and without apology. He filled his days with the things that brought him joy: crocheting creations he poured his heart and humor into, skiing with a freedom that felt like flying and surrounding himself with the friends and family who meant everything to him.

He is survived by his mother, Sherri Cyr; his grandmother, Barbara Colbath; his stepfather, BJ Cyr; his siblings, Tyler, Nolan, Griffin, and Hannah; his aunt, Christie Gallant; his uncle, Chris Gallant; and his cousin, Addison. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Peter Colbath.

Each of them carries a piece of his light.

Cody’s life was far too short, but the impact he made — through his kindness, his humor, and his self-confidence — will stay with the people who loved him for the rest of their lives.

One of Cody's Favorite Quotes: “20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do, rather than the things you did do. Live life like it’s your last day… cause it might be.”
