Christopher J. Adams Sr '84

On Nov. 7, 2025, Christopher J. Adams Sr. went through the gates of heaven to be with his Savior. Chris was a loving husband and father, a devoted child of God, and was loved by many. He was a member of Center Conway United Methodist Church.

Chris was born on Aug. 13, 1965, in Franklin, N.H., to Brenda Day and Max Adams. He graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1984. Chris lived most of his life in the Conway area and held a few jobs before becoming disabled. The major ones included the movie theater in Mountain Valley Mall, the Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, and Fast Taxi.

Chris loved to read and was an avid video game player and movie buff. The last few years he enjoyed going to the Gibson Center with his wife, JoMarie, where he made many new friends. His favorite times were spent with family, especially his children and grandsons.

Chris was predeceased by his sister Karen Adams and grandparents George and Leal Day. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, JoMarie, and their two children, Christopher Jr. and Rachael; grandsons Damien and Jesse; mother Brenda Day Rooks (husband Nicholas); brother Mark Adams Sr. and wife Becky; sister Jennifer Parker (Dan; and a large extended family.

The family wishes to thank the Hospice staff at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital for the dignity and care they gave Chris in his final weeks.

Service will be Saturday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Center Conway United Methodist Church (next to the old town office by Frye's).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the Gibson Center for Senior Services in North Conway or the Center Conway United Methodist Church.
