Bradley Hamlin '03

Bradley Erickson Hamlin, 40, passed away suddenly of natural causes, on Aug. 25, 2025. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Meghan, son Sid, his parents Don and Shirley, sister Dawn, grandmother Jean Hamlin, mother-in-law Barbara Finlay, sister-in-law Maureen Finlay, brother-in-law Garrett Finlay, niece Winnona, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including his lifelong friend, Chris Carpenter.

Brad was a lifelong resident of Brownfield, Maine. He attended the MSAD 72 school system, and graduated from Fryeburg Academy in the Class of 2003. He worked with his father, Don Hamlin, in carpentry, and most recently at Mountainvale Village in maintenance.

He was proud of his home, that he built with the help of his dad, and lived in with Meghan and Sid. He loved being a stay-at-home dad to his 7-year-old son and taking care of their house and land.

Brad had a great passion for music and was in many local punk rock bands: Tuesday Morning Wrestling, Str8 Bummin and The Lazy Anarchists.

He enjoyed listening to podcasts, playing video games, watching movies, professional wrestling and the New England Sports teams. Brad also rooted for the Las Vegas Raiders, because as he always said, “someone had to.”

In the winter, Brad liked to go ice fishing with his dad and his son.

Brad’s humor was one of a kind, and he was loved by everyone who knew him. If you met him, you liked him right away.

There will be a celebration of Brad at the Fryeburg Fair Expo 1 building at noon on Saturday Oct. 25. Dress casual in your favorite band, movie or team T-shirt and bring a story about Brad.
