Alvin Emerson '62

Alvin R. Emerson, age 81 passed away peacefully at home with his loving family on February 10, 2025. He was born on November 17, 1943, in North Conway, NH a son of the late Lyndon and Frances (Atheron) Emerson.

After high school Alvin joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war. He loved taking cruises with his family and was able to see the country in his travels as a long distance truck driver. He liked to have campfires and bonfires with his family. One of his passions was doing yard maintenance around the house and he could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to family and friends and was the happiest when talking with family and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving parents Lyndon and Frances Emerson, and brother David Emerson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted brother Guy Emerson and his wife Barbara, his children, Deena Emerson and her companion Neal Conant, Patrick Emerson and his wife Marcy, India Jackson and her husband Larry (Foo), and BJ Whitesel, his grandchildren Jerrica-Lynn Frost, Matthew Frost, Heather Jackson, Katelyn Cole, and Nathan Whitesel and great grandsons Lucas Canney, Emmett Webster, and Benjamin Webster (Benny).
