FA's Math Team Secures First Place at Regionals

FA's Math Team Secures First Place at Regionals
Fryeburg Academy's Math Team, advised by Mr. Morse, recently secured first place at the Regional Math Meet. Ufuk Soylemez '25 achieved the top rank among seniors, while Holym Han '26 placed first and Ayten Soylemez '26 finished third among juniors. Wynn Liu '27 took first place among sophomores, and Mateusz Jedrzejowski '28 ranked first among freshmen. Haruki Takagi '25 finished second overall, with Anton Liesnoi '25 in third place and Jiayu Lu '26 in fourth. The team is set to compete next in the Maine State Math Meet in April, facing off against 100 other teams from across Maine.
