By car

Fryeburg is three hours north of Boston and six hours northeast of New York City.

Boston:

I-95 North to Portsmouth, NH to Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) to Conway, to US 302 East to Fryeburg, ME (8 miles).

Providence:

I-95 to Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) then follow Boston directions.

Portland:

US 302 West, or Rt. 25 to Rt. 5 and Rt. 113 (60 miles).

Hartford and South:

I-84 to I-90 (Mass Pike) to I-495 to I-95 to Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) then follow Boston directions. (240 miles - Hartford; 330 miles - NYC).

By air

All major airlines fly directly to Boston's Logan International Airport. The Portland (Maine) Jetport (PWM) is served by several carriers, and rental car service is available at both airports. A year-round regional airport in Fryeburg accommodates private and chartered airplanes, with ground service available.

By bus

Concord Trailways offers direct daily service from Logan Airport and downtown Boston to Conway, NH (8 miles from Fryeburg). The Academy provides, upon request, transport to the Portland Jetport and Portland bus stations.

 Fryeburg Academy provides transportation to and from Portland upon request.
