 | Q. | What is there to do on weekends?
| | A. | Weekends at Fryeburg Academy are always filled with great activities. With students from across the country and around the world, Fryeburg Academy is a seven-day boarding school environment. Weekends are filled with trips to restaurants, malls, plays, movies, and sporting events. There are also special excursions to Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts throughout the year. Because we are located in the Mount Washington Valley, those students who enjoy skiing or snowboarding can choose to do so every day after-school and on the weekends throughout the winter. There are also three formal dances held throughout the year.

| | A. | The Fryeburg Academy dress code requires clothing that is neat, clean, and appropriate. Concern for personal appearance is an indication of self-respect and of courtesy toward others. In general, the dress code requires a collared shirt, a sweatshirt, or a sweater for a top. Acceptable pants include dress pants, khakis, jeans, or corduroys. Hats are not to be worn in any classroom, the dining hall, the library, or all offices.

 | Q. | Can I make a payment online? | | A. | Yes, application fees, enrollment deposits and tuition payments may be made online through Tuition Management Systems. Payment may be made by credit card or as a direct debit from your checking or savings accounts. | | A. | There are many reasons you should attend Fryeburg Academy. With a boarding population of 135 set in a larger school setting, Fryeburg Academy provides a close-knit family environment while offering the curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that can only be found at a larger school. Fryeburg Academy is a truly diverse school with students from around the world and from many different backgrounds. You’ll find encouragement and support in and out of the classroom. We serve students of all academic abilities with 14 AP courses, ESOL classes, our Language Retraining Program, Special Services Department, Global Studies Program, Honors classes, as well as technical offerings.
